Just in time for tax filing season, Greylock Federal Credit Union will offer a webinar "Winning on Your Taxes" on Wednesday, Feb. 25.
The session will be held 6-7 p.m. via Zoom and will outline ways to maximize a tax return and tips to create a successful budget beyond tax season.
Also that day, from 6-8 p.m., Greylock will host "Declaraci n de Impuestos 101" p.m. at Lee High School, 300 Greylock St. in Lee. The workshop, which will be offered in Spanish, explains the importance of filing taxes and ways to accurately report income; how Social Security numbers and Individual Taxpayer Identification numbers work; qualifications for independent contractors; ways to avoid certain penalties; and the risk of tax fraud.
