In her new role, Roberta will manage Greylock’s marketing department, ensuring its brand and image are communicated effectively across all channels. She will also develop a comprehensive data-driven, digital-first marketing program incorporating communications, creative services, and public relations to meet Greylock’s vision to be the face of financial inclusion in the communities they serve.
Greylock Federal Credit Union held its 88th Annual Meeting on March 28th at the Proprietor’s Lodge in Pittsfield with over 200 Members in attendance. The meeting included a celebration of the tenure of outgoing Board chair Stanley Walczyk and the recognition of Anna Flynn’s 40th anniversary of service.
Greylock Federal Credit Union reports net income of $9.4 million and assets of $1.5 billion according to its recently released 2022 annual report. Chief Financial Officer Michael R. Stoddard reported that Greylock’s strong balance sheet, robust capital position and solid earnings put the Credit Union in great shape for the long-term. “We hold $165 million in capital reserves, including $57 million in extra capital cushion above the level considered well-capitalized by our regulators,” Stoddard added.
Greylock Federal Credit Union is investing $2.2 million purchase and renovate 43 Park Street in Lee to support its growing Membership. Greylock’s approach to financial equity is drawing record numbers of new Members and the Credit Union needs a more roomy, welcoming and functional space. Membership in the Lee branch has nearly doubled over the last decade.
Greylock promoted Mindy Brown to the role of branch manager in its Lee, Massachusetts location. The position became available through the prior manager’s promotion, Jennifer O’Neil, to Vice President, Market Manager.
Greylock is proud to announce the promotion of Devan Gardner to Assistant Vice President, Lending Systems & Project Manager.

After a nationwide search, Greylock has selected local candidate Rachel Melendez Mabee as their first vice president of DEI, culture and brand. In this new role, Rachel will play a critical role in leading the overall strategy as the credit union deepens its DEI journey. She will be the driving force behind their IDEA (Inclusion, Diversity, Equity and Accessibility) principles, ensuring that every Greylock employee values the power of diversity, community, and the importance of fostering belonging, support, and trust. Her goal is to foster a culture that leads with equity through strategic initiatives across the organization aimed at creating systemic change.
