    Greylock Federal Credit Union is relocating their branch in the Stop and Shop Plaza on Merrill Road in Pittsfield to a space they are remodeling at their offices in the Allendale Shopping Center. The new Allendale branch is less than half a mile from their current location in the Coltsville neighborhood.

    Greylock Insurance Agency (GIA), based in Pittsfield, has purchased Roger Butler Insurance Agency (RBI), a long established, very successful independent insurance agency in Westfield. The principals of RBI, Roger Butler, Jr. and Clarissa Butler-Simone have agreed to stay on for a while to ensure a smooth transition for customers and employees. 

  • Greylock to be First Lender in Berkshire County to Accept PPP Applications

    As the only certified Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI) located in Berkshire County, Greylock Federal Credit Union will be the first local lender allowed to accept applications for the next round of the Small Business Administration’s Paycheck Protection Program (PPP). The online application portal could be available as early as Monday and will give priority to minority, underserved, veteran, and women-owned businesses as well as existing Greylock business members. They have reached out to a number of Berkshire County community partners to help get the word out about this opportunity.
